Chris is a retired cardiac and trauma anesthesiologist. Chris also attended law and business schools. After his clinical medical career ended Chris used his entire education and experiences to assist start-ups and entrepreneurs in Central Ohio. Chris often volunteers as a spokesperson or consultant for the companies and people he assists. Chris personally has a passion for working with professionals and physicians individually to ensure they have the best education and advice about disability insurance. Chris speaks to groups of resident physicians, dentists and professionals and works diligently to provide income protection.
Chris is a 1998 graduate of the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and has attended both The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business and Capital Law School, located in Columbus, OH. Chris became board-certified and practiced Anesthesiology after completing his residency at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in both academic and private practice settings. Chris also graduated Cum Laude, in English, from Case Western Reserve University with areas of additional concentration in Chemistry and Biochemistry.
Chris taught medical students and residents at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center from 2002 – 2006 and worked as a Pain Physician for Ohio State University in 2003 and 2004. He has lectured to the entire medical student body on two occasions concerning careers in anesthesiology and completed research in opioid reversal agents for first responders. Chris was in private practice with 40 physicians and 50 CRNAs from 2006-2010. Chris was Medical Director at the group’s surgery center, Chief of Staff for the hospital group at large, coordinated with the Central Ohio Trauma System (COTS) and participated as a board member to run the business.
Disabled in 2010 from a birth injury resulting in a degenerative palsy of his left hand and arm, Chris refocused his life on family and his four children. Volunteering at his children’s schools, PTOs and was Chairman in 2011 for a School Levy Issue. Chris assisted several Ohio companies during 2010-2017 from start-up through growth and profitability through volunteer consulting, advising and extensive networking.
